1. Payment
1.1 General Payment Terms:
- Payment for all classes must be made in advance of classes starting.
- Payments are non-refundable, this includes missed classes and non-participation.
- Should a class be cancelled last minute by the school, no refund will be given as this
would be out of our control and no fault of our own. See section 3.2 of this
document.
- Payments are also subject to revision; reasonable notice will be given in respect of
any such revision.
- All payments must be made payable to Claire Holland.
- You must commit to paying the fees, in relation to the full term (whether you choose
to pay in several instalments or in one go) prior to the start of term, or prior to your
child joining the course, and the booking form must be completed as part of your
childās enrolment. Failure to pay for classes may result in your place being given to
another child.
- Classes are booked via the ClubEnrolment platform.
- In the unlikely event of last minute class time changes by the tutor, they will notify
you with as much time as possible. No reimbursement will be given of any expenses
caused by a customer failing to pick up their message.
- For in-person after school classes, a penalty of Ā£5 per 15 minutes of late pick-up will
be charged. See section 2.3 of this document.
- Should you withdraw from classes without the required notice, you will be charged
the āno noticeā cancellation fee of Ā£30. See section 2.6 of this document.
1.2 Materials
- Childrenās packs include an activity book, downloadable audio materials, and a
parental guide, which are an integral part of the course and will be sold at the time of
enrolment as a one-off joining fee.
- Each programme varies in length, but a pack will last your child at least three school
terms.
- Books and audio materials are sold as a non-refundable item.
- These materials are compulsory from Year 1 onwards. In the case of Nursery classes, the materials are optional.
- For in-person classes, packs will be given to the pupils during class by the tutor.
- For online classes, packs will be posted to the address provided at the time of enrolment.
1.3 Sibling Discount:
- When two or more siblings book together, you will be offered a sibling discount: your
first enrolled child will pay the normal fee, and every sibling enrolling thereafter will
be offered 20% off their fee.
1.4 Exceptional circumstances:
- Under extraordinary circumstances a refund might be awarded on a case by case
basis.
2. Expectations on conduct and your responsibilities
2.1 Attendance
- Attendance is crucial for maintaining continuity in learning. If a child is unable to
attend a class, please inform the tutor in advance.

they havenāt maintained satisfactory standards of conduct or if their presence in the class becomes disruptive or undesirable.

penalty of Ā£5 per 15 minutes of late pick-up will be charged.
- Please inform the teacher if there is any change to the adult authorised to pick up
your child.
2.4 Specific expectations for Online classes

- We are not responsible for technical issues arising from the participantās end. Please
ensure a stable internet connection and a functional device for the classes.
- Children are expected to adhere to the same standards of conduct as in physical
classes. Any disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the class.
- A parent or guardian must be available during the class to assist with any technical
issues and to ensure the childās participation.
2.5 Medical information

- You will be prompted to renew or to cancel your childās enrolment at each half-term.
- Please note that if the half-term written notice hasn't been given and you decide not

3. The tutorās responsibilities
3.1 Teaching
- The tutor is responsible for teaching the āLa Jolie Rondeā programmes in a fun and
engaging way, within a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- The tutor is responsible for delivering the amount of classes agreed upon at the start of each term.
- The tutor is only responsible for children within the classroom during scheduled class hours, in person and online.
- To ensure consistent teaching the tutor is responsible for checking with the school for
any clashes, like inset days and school trips, which potentially may prevent French
Club from taking place in the upcoming term, and plan the classes accordingly.
3.2 Communication including class cancellations and rescheduling
- If insufficient children are booked into your class, we reserve the right to cancel the
class.
- If such a situation arises where your child is removed from an in-person class, you
will be notified in writing or by phone. The removal of your child will only take place
as a last resort after all other avenues of help & support have been explored.
- In the unlikely event of last minute class time changes by the tutor, the tutor will
notify you with as much notice as possible.
- In the unlikely event of class cancellations by the tutor, your account will be credited
for that class. If you are not returning next term, the class will be refunded. In most
cases, the class will be rescheduled.
- If despite the tutorās best efforts to avoid clashes, the school cancels a class last
minute, at no fault of the tutor, no refund will be given, and this would be
communicated to you at the time.
- If a class cannot take place due to compulsory school closure (due to bad weather,
heating system failure, teachersā strike, etc.), the class will be cancelled, and we will
be under no obligation to refund such a class. The tutor will, however, always try to
reschedule such classes if possible.

the agreement between you and us. It will be stored safely and securely. It will not be
